BIOGRAPHY

Tina Shoa is an Associate Professor in the School of Sustainable Energy Engineering at Simon Fraser University, specializing in battery diagnostics and intelligent battery management systems. She began her research career at Automotive Fuel Cell Co-operation, focusing on electrochemical modelling and advanced characterization techniques.

Tina joined Cadex Electronics as the Director of Research, leading initiatives in battery modeling and diagnostics that were successfully integrated into commercial products. She holds multiple patents in battery diagnostics technologies and brings deep expertise spanning academic research and industry commercialization.
